The Gallery’s popular Up Late program takes a sophisticated, soulful approach during ‘Matisse: Drawing Life’ with DJ Jazz in the early evening, followed by live music performances with an acoustic edge.
Up Late offers a unique opportunity to enjoy the ‘Matisse: Drawing Life' exhibition after hours. Join friends for a drink or bite to eat in the stylish bar and lounge, enjoy talks by contemporary artists or be inspired by The Drawing Room, a large-scale, interactive drawing studio with costumed models and a spectacular setting of changing displays.
Please note: Pre-purchased tickets for Up Late through qtix can be collected from the qtix Box Office at QPAC until 12noon Friday or from GoMA from 3.00pm on the Friday of the event. Subject to availability, limited additional tickets will be available from 5.30pm at the Gallery of Modern Art. Up Late is a ticketed event separate to the ‘Matisse: Drawing Life’ exhibition. Entry to the exhibition on Friday nights is only valid with an Up Late ticket.
